«Psychosocial support of refuggee children»
The Department of Psychology and the Center for Research and Practice of School Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens organized the 1st Training Seminar entitled “Psychosocial support of refugee children”. The seminar was addressed to teachers, education executives, mental health specialists, professionals working with vulnerable groups of children and adolescents as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students. The purpose of this specific training seminar was to raise awareness of the participants regarding issues of psychosocial adaptation and support of refugee children as well as to highlight perspectives for the empowerment of all members of the school community.
The seminar took place on Saturday, May 6, 2017, 10:00-15:00, in the Aula hall, School of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
