ABOUT LSP

The Laboratory of School Psychology: Training, Research and Practice was established in 2017 (FEK 982/Β/23-3-2017), however it has been operating in the School of Philosophy since 1999 as Center for Research and Practice in School Psychology. It is based on a multi-level model lining theory, research, education and school psychological interventions in schools, institutions and other settings and its actions are implemented in collaboration with Graduate Program in School Psychology. The Laboratory aims at the prevention and promotion of mental health, learning and resilience in the school and family contexts, hence the connection and cooperation of the University with schools and local authorities.

The specific goals of LSP are based on the following interrelated axes:

  • Education - training
  • Prevention and intervention programs
  • Consultation - Supervision
  • Research
  • Educational material/publications
  • Collaboration with agents
  • Dissemination of knowledge in the community (workshops, speeches, symposia, etc.)
